2024 NCOSSCA Sr. All-Star Game

On a mild November Sunday afternoon, the NCOSSCA Sr. All-Star games were held at Crestview HS. The Girls game was first with a Noon kick-off. Before the match we recognized Addie Blakely (Clear Fork) as the Girls winner of the NCOSSCA Scholarship. The Home Team (Dark Jerseys) won the game 3-1 in a well-played game by both squads. Sophia Ralofsky (Perkins) led the way with 2 goals and was voted the Player of the Game. Nissi Powers (Ontario) added the 3rd goal for the Home Team. Emery Volz (Clear Fork) scored the lone goal for the Away Team (White Jerseys). The Home team was coached by Zac Huff (Madison Comprehensive) and Jesse Rider (Mansfield Christian) coached the Away Team.

The Boys game followed with a 2 pm kick-off. Prior to this match we recognized Mason Jacobus (Madison Comprehensive) as the Boys winner of the NCOSSCA Scholarship. The Home Team (Dark Jerseys) prevailed in this game as well by a score of 5-2. They had balanced scoring with a goal each from Kaden Dickerson (Crestview), Colton Yugovich (Ontario), Griffin DeBolt (Mansfield Sr.), Justin Crall (Mansfield Sr.) and Dallas Glenn. Kaden Dickerson added an assist too and was voted the Player of the Game. The Away Team got their goals from KJ Oden (Ontario) and Nicholas Morse (Wooster). The Home Team was coached by Matt Asher (Huron) and the Away Team by Tim Lord (Madison Comprehensive).

A special thanks to Mike Pond and the folks at Crestview HS for hosting the games and for Dale Anderson and Eric Saterfield for being or officials. Dale was recognized as the NCOSSCA Referee of the Year.
